Simulation and Optimization of Converged Networks Traffic
Turan, Jonáš ; Kenyeres, Martin (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
The aim of this work is to explore and describe possibilities of the network simulator OMNeT++, to create a user guide using this knowledge and make three tasks for computer exercise. In the first part, the principle and functionality of OMNeT++ are described theoretically, there are possibilities and area of focus. User guide can be used for basic understanding of the system. There is a description of the environment, the file composition and the basic operations. Individual tasks are focused on implementing technology DiffServ, RIP and OSPF. The goal of student is to assemble a simulation and learn basic functions of OMNeT++ and then evaluate the results.
Tool for Modelling and Simulation of Technologic Processes
Skydánek, Libor ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Kočí, Radek (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the problem of technological process modelling and simulation. It is based on the realistic requirements of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, where they lacked an extensible and open simulation tool with the ability to model biomass processing. In this work we explain the main concepts in the field of (physical) chemistry, the systematic approach to process modelling and simulation and we discuss various problems of simulation methods. We also describe the differences between simulation and design specifications and give reasons for choosing the sequential modular approach. An important part of the work is aimed at the design of the simulation tool's architecture, where the main emphasis is laid on the extensibility of future application. The tool has been implemented and it is now sucessfully being used at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
Adaptive Trading Strategies for Cryptocurrencies
Filip, Marek ; Perešíni, Martin (referee) ; Homoliak, Ivan (advisor)
Práce nabízí investorům nové způsoby zisků a zároveň dává čtenářům možnost nahlédnout do tvorby (adaptivních) strategií a jejich zpětného testování v kódu. Předpokládá se, že výsledky práce budou využívány automatizovanými obchodními systémy.
Production System Simulation and Analysis
Hromková, Ivana ; Křivka, Zbyněk (referee) ; Zendulka, Jaroslav (advisor)
The work deals with creating of simulation model of production system (foundry) and its analyze. Simulation of production systems is discussed in the introduction as well as basic principles and processes during simulation model making. Next chapter describes problems arise when such type of systems are solved. Next issue about virtual fabric is discussed. Information regarding virtual fabric has been obtained from Siemens conference. Follows views of simulation tools specialized on manufacturing systems. In last one chapter is taking up of implementation of simulation system. The whole process of creating of simulation model which consists of making conceptual model, abstract model, description of model making, analysis outcomes and experimentation with simulation model.
QoS in IP network with the help of OMNeT++ simulation tool
Hudec, Lukáš ; Mlýnek, Petr (referee) ; Růčka, Lukáš (advisor)
The content of this thesis is giving information about the network simulator OMNeT++ and its superstructure INET Framework. In this thesis a sample simulation of IP network with the help of simulation package INET Framework is realized on this theme. The thesis also deals with analysis of possibilities, how to assure quality service in IP networks and subsequently implementation quality of service in surrounding of network simulator OMNeT++ and its superstructure INET Framework. The implementation is accomplished by two methods. The first method is implementation of differential service, in other words DiffServ, with the help of change the behavior of output. This change rest in sorting of data packets to different queues by their device priority. The second method shows principles of the technology MPLS and also function code protocol OSPF. The MPLS technology is realized by special routers with implemented moduls reservation protocol.
Discrete Simulation in Java: Process Scheduling
Skočovský, Peter ; Kočí, Radek (referee) ; Martinek, David (advisor)
This thesis deals with process scheduling implementation for discrete simulation in Java. Two approaches are considered: process implementation using threads and process implementation without threads. Main problem of using threads was to ensure cooperative switching. Processes implemented without threads are divided into atomic parts and suspend can be performed only between these parts. Test results show that implementation using threads is considerably slower and consumes more memory.
Driveline Design and Testing Methods
Poláček, Jan ; Straka, Tomáš (referee) ; Fojtášek, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the methods of designing and testing of vehicle drivetrains. The first part of the thesis describes and explains the individual drivetrain components and their possible arrangements. Then, the test methods used in the development of vehicle drivetrains, which are increasingly demanded in terms of their efficiency and reliability, are explained. Therefore, this thesis summarizes the sophisticated simulation tools used in the design and development of vehicle drivetrains. In conclusion of thesis the importance of simulation and testing of drivetrain is considered.
